Energy Monitoring

In the last 6-months alone the number of registered installers on the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) database has doubled! As competition in the market increases the Solo PV will help any installer or solar panel manufacturer stand out.
The Solo PV
Using the standard GEO display layout (designed to simulate a car dashboard) the Solo PV comes with a colour, backlit screen. These similarities make the display very intuitive and easy for users to understand. It provides live generation information to the user giving a clear picture of how well their PV array is performing. This information can be shown as money earned via feed in tariffs (FITs), kilowatts generated or the amount of CO2 saved. The display also shows generation over the course of the day, yesterday and the last 7-days.
Utilising an LED reader that attaches directly onto the outside of the generation meter, the Solo PV is simple to install. The LED reader then plugs into a transmitter, which is pre-paired to communicate wirelessly with the display which can be located wherever required within the home. As the Solo PV works independently of the invertor, it will work with the majority of OFGEM approved generation meters providing flexibility of choice for installers.
Designed specifically for the PV market the Solo PV indicates when the array is producing enough energy to power high load appliances (such as dishwashers and tumble dryers). Ensuring power generated via panels is used efficiently.
MyEnergy for the Solo PV

Included with all Solo PV displays is access to GEO’s MyEnergy web portal. Using an SD card several years of data can be stored and transferred the graphical web portal allowing comparison of historic data and trends.

Pre-smart/smart ready ‘one-touch-controller’
The Ensemble is our next generation in-home display that
lets users see how much electricity they’re using overall
and to track up to six appliances. An internet bridge makes
the Ensemble a truly smart device – users can control the
appliances via a web portal or using an iPhone app, whilst a
‘one-touch’ lifestyle button can switch all six appliances off
at once.
It can also be supplied with a ZigBee smart meter gateway.
Display views
The combined Speedometer and Fuel Gauge shows how
much electricity is being used in the home right now and
against a target allowance.
The Milometer tracks how much electricity has been used
and can be viewed as consumption figures from today,
yesterday or the last seven and last thirty days.
Bridge
The core 868MHz/IP bridge enables the unit to be
connected to a web portal and mobile phone applications
or a combined ZigBee/868MHz/IP gateway can be supplied
making it ‘smart-ready’.
Sensors
The display can work with up to six smart plugs (868MHz).
These can be switchable or non-switchable versions. The
core Ensemble uses an 868MHz CT Clamp. With the ZigBee
gateway it can use our LED readers or be connected to a
smart meter.
